VEXO Drive works with any iPhone that has MagSafe (iPhone 12 and newer). This includes:

- iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max

If you have an iPhone 11 or older, VEXO won’t attach magnetically, but you can still use it with the included cable.
Q2: Does it work with Android phones?
VEXO Drive works as a standard USB-C storage device with Android phones. However, the magnetic attachment is designed for iPhone MagSafe only. Android users can connect via cable.
Q3: Can I use VEXO with my computer?
Yes! VEXO Drive works with Mac (macOS 10.13+) and PC (Windows 10+). It comes formatted as exFAT for universal compatibility. Connect using the included USB-C cable.
Q4: Do I need a special case for my iPhone?
If you use a case, it must be MagSafe-compatible. Most modern iPhone cases support MagSafe. If your case is too thick (>3mm), the magnetic connection might be weak. We recommend official Apple cases or verified MagSafe cases.

Q5: Do I need to download an app?
No. VEXO Drive works with your iPhone’s built-in Files app. Plug and play. No downloads, no account creation, no complicated setup.
Q6: How do I use VEXO Drive with my iPhone?
Simply attach VEXO Drive magnetically to the back of your iPhone. Open the Files app, and you’ll see VEXO Drive as an external storage option. You can now save photos, videos, and files directly to it.
Q7: Can I record video directly to VEXO Drive?
With certain apps, yes. Native iPhone Camera app saves to internal storage first, then you can move files to VEXO. Apps like Filmic Pro and ProCamera allow direct recording to external storage.
Q8: How long does the battery last?
VEXO Drive doesn’t have a battery—it draws minimal power from your iPhone via the USB-C connection. Impact on iPhone battery is negligible (approximately 5-8% over a full day of shooting).

VEXO Drive is splash-resistant but not waterproof. It can handle light rain or accidental spills, but don’t submerge it. The SSD inside is solid-state (no moving parts), making it shock-resistant.
Q13: What if I drop it?
VEXO Drive is shock-resistant up to 1.5m drops. The aluminum body protects the SSD inside. However, like any electronic device, we recommend the included protective pouch for transport.
